Spax wood screws, 5.0 x 30mm, with a flat countersunk head and a TX (Torx) T20 recess, in a plated finish. Made from hardened steel with a 5.0mm diameter, supplied in a pack of 500. The TX recess is designed to give a firm fit with a T20 driver bit, which helps the bit stay seated while driving. The countersunk head sits flush with or just below the surface of the timber, and a 30mm length suits general timber fixing. Check the screw size against your material before you start, and drill a pilot hole where recommended to reduce the risk of splitting the wood.
